Throw a Fall Photography Party for Natural Light Holiday Family Portraits

NEW FOR FALL!  Here is an innovative, affordable way to get natural light family portraits for holiday cards - Anna Myers is now offering on-location sessions for friends and family at a great group rate – kind of like a mini photography party!  

Here is how it works – gather together at least 4 (max 8) families to photograph and choose someone’s backyard or garden for the session.  We will schedule the session for the best light at that location – but mornings or late afternoons offer the best lighting in general.

Each family pays a weekday session fee of $50 for a 15-minute session, and you receive 25 holiday slimline cards. The host family gets their session and 25 holiday cards for free! [Additional travel fee may apply if the location is further than 30 minutes from the Alameda studio. Weekend photography parties session fees are $85 each with a minimum of 6 participants] The session fee also includes a one-hour post consultation for each family with Anna in the studio to view your options and place your order. 

Newborn Twins and Big Sister - Photography Session Celebrating 100 days

Celebrating a baby's 100 day birthday (Baek-il) is a tradition in Korean culture, and Mimi had me come to the house to photograph her beautiful twin girls along with her spunky 4 year old daughter. The twins were actually 103 days, but having everyone available for the newborn family photography session was more important in the long run than the 3 extra days.  The baby's are fraternal twins (can you tell which is which?) and I was actually able to tell them apart after just a few minutes.  These darling girls were very smiley, even though it was a sweltering hot day in San Francisco.  Their big sister is an enchanting child with a wonderful imagination.  She is very proud of her baby's. Mimi loves black&whites, so we planned the session to create great black&white prints to add on to their existing body of black and white fine art family prints.  Here are some of my favorites from the session...
 

 

Lifestyle Photography Session at Grandma's House

It was time for new photos of the grandchildren with Katie - I just love working with this woman!  She is so animated with her grandkids that we always have a wonderfully fun session - filled with laughter and great expressions.  Katie loves a more casual, lifestyle photography look for modern children's portraits that are natural and timeless - so we did the session at her beautiful home and backyard with the two girls who are sisters and their boy cousin.  Here are some of my favorites from the session...
